Data Deletion

Last updated: October 8, 2026

If there is any conflict between a translation and the English version, the English version prevails.

1. Overview

This page explains how to request deletion of your Growfeed data, what happens to Facebook and Instagram connection data when you remove the app in Meta settings, and how to check a Meta deletion confirmation code.

2. Delete your Growfeed account

There is no fully automated self-serve account wipe in the product today. Settings → Delete Account opens Support so our team can help.

To request deletion of your account and personal data, email [email protected]with subject "Data Deletion Request" from the email address on your account. We handle confirmed requests within 30 days.

3. What is deleted and what is kept

Typically deleted on a confirmed account deletion request

  • Account profile data associated with your user record
  • Stores, brand profiles, generated posts and Studio projects you own
  • Uploaded and generated media we store for your account
  • Connected-channel tokens and credentials
  • In-app support tickets tied to your user id (where not required for legal claims)

Kept as required by law

  • Billing and transaction records for {{BILLING_RETENTION_PERIOD}} (or longer if a claim or legal hold requires it)

Backup copies may remain for up to {{BACKUP_FINAL_DELETION_PERIOD}} before final deletion where technically applicable.

4. Facebook & Instagram

You can remove Facebook / Instagram connection data without deleting your entire Growfeed account.

In Growfeed

  1. Open the dashboard and go to Channels.
  2. Disconnect Facebook (and Instagram if linked via the same Meta connection).

Via Facebook settings

  1. Open Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites.
  2. Find Growfeed and remove it (and request data deletion when prompted).
  3. Facebook calls our deletion callback. We delete matching Facebook and Instagram connection data for that Meta user id (and related scheduled deliveries / analytics tied to those connections), then issue a confirmation code.

This Meta callback does not delete your full Growfeed account, other platforms, or billing records. Use the email process above for a full account deletion.

5. Confirmation codes & status

After Meta triggers deletion, Facebook receives a status URL and confirmation code. Open the status link, or go to Data Deletion Status and append ?code=YOUR_CODE.

Status values: Received, Completed, or Failed.
